The average price paid is the total you spent divided by the number of coins you bought. It is a single figure that sums up several purchases.
Buy 10 coins at 1.00 and 10 more at 3.00. You spent 40 for 20 coins, so the average price paid is 2.00 per coin.
It shows where today's price stands against your own history. A coin above your average is in profit on paper, below it is not. This is orientation, not a verdict.
A wallet records transfers, not what you paid. The figure has to be worked out from the transactions and the prices at the time.
The average price and the holding time together tell the story of a position. In Pulse Totals Pro, both appear as the coin's birthday.
Coin birthdays in Pulse Totals Pro show how long you have held a coin and the average price you paid. Open Pulse Totals
