Not every alert deserves a night-time message. Most changes can wait until morning, and a few cannot.
A name server change, an edited SPF record or a certificate with weeks to run is worth knowing about, but not worth waking up for. Domain Night Watch holds these alerts until your quiet hours are over.
A certificate error, a certificate with less than 3 days left, a registration with less than 7 days left, or all mail servers gone: these affect visitors or email now, or very soon.
If everything wakes you, you start to ignore it. If nothing does, a serious problem can run all night. The line is therefore drawn narrowly on purpose.
Normal alerts wait for the morning. The serious ones always come through, at any hour.
Domain Night Watch separates the two kinds, so the alerts at night are the ones that matter. Open Domain Night Watch
