A redesign or a move to new hosting changes more than the look. A few technical basics can disappear on the way, so it helps to check them once the new site is live.
Check that the imprint and privacy links appear on the start page and on inner pages. New templates often leave them out.
Make sure the new server presents a valid certificate that covers both versions of your address, with and without www. A staging address may have had a different certificate.
Old addresses should lead to their new place, and http should lead to https. Broken links lose visitors and search visibility. A list of the old addresses helps while you work through them.
If email is hosted elsewhere, check that SPF, DKIM, DMARC and the mail server records survived the move. A DNS change can overwrite them.
Our free Website check covers the links, the email records and the certificate in one run. Open Website check
