Is there an imprint link on every page of your website?

Visitors expect to find a link to the imprint without searching. A quick look can show whether it is there, on the start page and on the other pages.

Where it usually sits

Most sites put the link in the footer, so it appears on every page. Labels such as Imprint or Impressum are what visitors look for.

How to check

Open the start page and a few inner pages, scroll to the bottom, and see whether the link is there. Click it to make sure it opens the right page and not an error.

Common gaps

The link is missing on some page templates, such as a shop checkout or a landing page. After a redesign, the footer link can disappear or point to an old address.

What a check cannot tell you

A technical check can see that a link exists and works. It cannot judge what the page says; that is a different question and not part of it.
