One warning at one level tells you only that a line has been crossed. A series of levels shows how fast a loan is approaching the minimum.
If you set one alert at, say, 130 percent, you learn nothing before it and little after. You do not know if the loan fell from 200 or just brushed it.
With several levels, each message shows progress. A warning at 175, then 150, then 140 says the loan keeps sliding, and it says it early.
Pulse Lifeline warns at 200, 175, 150, 140, 130, 125 and 120 percent. Each level warns once when the loan falls below it, and again after a recovery and a new fall.
Below 115 percent, warnings become critical and repeat every hour. The earlier levels exist so that you rarely get that far.
