The safety of a loan depends on prices. When the collateral loses value, the ratio falls, even if you have not done anything.
The ratio is collateral divided by debt. A lower collateral price shrinks the top of the fraction, and the ratio drops with it.
If the debt is in a coin that holds a steady value, only the collateral price moves the ratio. If the debt coin moves too, both sides change. Both are normal with moving prices.
Volatile coins can change by tens of percent in a short time. A loan that looked comfortable can get close to the minimum within days.
The ratio you see is for the current prices. Estimates from public data can be late, so treat the number as a guide.
Pulse Lifeline reads the ratios live from the loan systems and warns you as a loan nears the minimum. Open Pulse Lifeline
