Domain monitoring reads public information and tells you when it changes. That is useful, and it has clear limits.
Monitoring reads DNS records, the certificate a site presents and the registration data. It does not log in to anything, so it cannot see inside your accounts or servers.
A check shows the state at that moment. A change that appears and disappears between two checks is not seen.
An alert tells you something changed. Deciding whether that is right, and correcting it, is still your job or your provider's.
Monitoring does not test your website for weaknesses, and alerts can also arrive late. It is one layer, not a guarantee.
Domain Night Watch is built for exactly this narrow job: it watches the public records of your domains and tells you when they change. Open Domain Night Watch
