Short and plain: what the app and its web version do with your information, and what they never touch. This page describes how Pulse Totals works. The legal privacy policy is a separate page.
What Pulse Totals never asks for
Your private keys and your recovery phrases. If you type or paste one by mistake, the app recognises it, wipes the field and keeps nothing.
An account, an email address or a password. There is nothing to sign up for.
Any right to move your coins. The app is read-only: it can look, but it cannot send, swap or sign anything.
What stays on your phone
Your wallet addresses and the names you gave them, your settings, and your favourite coins.
Balances and prices are not stored on our servers. They are loaded fresh when you open the app.
You can hide all amounts and lock the app with Face ID.
Where the numbers come from
Public services: the PulseChain explorer and node, PulseX prices, and a currency rate service. The explorer and the node see the wallet addresses you look up. The other services only see which coins are asked about.
What our server holds, and only if you use these two features
Link a computer: an encrypted copy of your wallet list and favourite coins. The key is in the code you scan and stays on your phone and in that browser, so we cannot read the copy. It is deleted when you unlink, and after 30 days without use.
The web version keeps nothing but the link in your browser. It loads your wallets and the live data each time you open it.
Coin alerts: your phone's push token, the contract addresses of the coins you follow, and your limits. Never wallet addresses and never balances. It is deleted when you turn alerts off, and after 60 days without the app.
Our own code does not store IP addresses. The web server and our content network keep the normal technical logs that every website has, as described in the privacy policy.
What happens on your phone only
Reminders before a HEX stake ends are made on your phone. Nothing about them is sent to us.
How to delete everything
Delete the app, and everything on your phone is gone.
Unlink a computer in the app or on the web page, and the encrypted copy is deleted at once.
Turn the coin alerts switch off, and the alert record is deleted at once.
